I really like Easter.. because it reminds me constantly of a love so great that, He who had no iniquities decided to lay His life, so that I may live,… so that I may have second chances every time.
“He lay down His life, in order to take it up again…No one took it from Him,… but He lay it down” (Read John 19:17-18)
The Blood
As we mourn the death of Christ, let’s reflect on events that led to His death, and be reminded that He was wounded and beaten so that we could be healed. Thirty-nine lashes He received to represent all categories of diseases. (KJV) Isaiah 53:5 says in regard to Christ, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes, we are healed.”As a result, sickness has no hold over us, because He died with it all that we may have authority over it all.
May the love of God continue to be reflected through our lives.
