Goodbye πŸ‘‹ – The Beginning or Closing of a Chapter

Hey y’all, it’s been a minute since I came your way with some posts. I am so sorry but its been tough for me. Some weeks and months are tougher than others but I am grateful for the sustaining hand of God that holds me up each day.

But y’all know I won’t leave you hanging, on that note, please enjoy this piece from my good friend Mimi who happened to celebrate her birthday yesterday (19.07). Kindly show her some love in the comment section. I hope you get all the mixed emotions I had when reading this beautiful piece. Enjoy, lovelies 😍

Bye
The bye that is said
The bye that isn’t said
The bye you need to say to yourself
The bye you ought to hear
The bye you expect
The bye you did not expect

Byes are difficult either ways rights?
One would ask which is the hardest?
The sender might say her part is the hardest, and the receiver might debunk it sharply, arguing how unpleasant it is to hear.

Some byes can be needs or wants (lol economics), for that sanity check?

I believe the word BYE is not the problem, but the person(s) saying or hearing this word.
Families, friends, relationships, organizations, etc at a point experience the sharp and piecing words.

But at each point in life these words are heard or spoken.
A new beginning or closing of a chapter either ways it’s hard

To the byes unsaid
